Clinton welcomed its first tenant to the Clinton Park Corporate Center-Hampton Inn and Suites.  The nearly 500-acre park is part of a planned business environment being developed by the city as it attempts to modernize and diversify its economy.

The city’s attractive location and progressive planning efforts are contributing to its growth and development, particularly in the commercial sectors.  Revitalization of the central business district has encouraged Presbyterian College to locate its bookstore downtown.  Infrastructure expansion and improvements, such as the widening of SC 72, are opening up new areas for development
