 Easley continues to exhibit above-average performance with a strong economy and significant population growth. The commercial sector has benefited from an influx of large national chains and residential development is up substantially.
Interest in the redevelopment and refurbishment of the downtown area continues. In addition, tourism dollars have increased, in part, with the success of the city’s recreation complex. The Big League World Series event has gained national and world-wide attention. This development success has precipitated a greater demand for municipal services and Easley has been investing heavily in meeting this need.
